How fulfilling it would be to know your profession impacts vulnerable children and families for good?

We are a young, fast-growing collective of talented and passionate individuals who come to work because we want to help craft a better future for America’s vulnerable children. We care about our mission, our values, and our people. We pray together, play together, and plan together everyday towards the goal of seeing every child restored into safe and stable relationships.

Take a Look at Our Values

At For Others, we take our values (we call them “the H’s”) seriously. These are the strengths our team is constantly evaluating ourselves on, and the main things we look for in new hires:

  • Holiness (1 Peter 1:16). We’re open about our faith and daily strive to grow in our relationship with God our Father and Jesus Christ His son.
  • Hospitality (Hebrews 13:2). We work hard to show everyone we encounter — no matter who they are or where they’re from — true hospitality. It’s more than just offering a cup of coffee. It’s a lifestyle of service.
  • Honor (Romans 12:10). We lift each other up. From those who work for us, to those we work with, to those we work for. Everyone receives honor when they’re in the room and when they aren’t.
  • Honesty (Ephesians 4:15). We tell the truth to one another. Because we’re all working towards being the best at what we do, we value honesty from one teammate to the other.
  • Humility (Philippians 2:3). We work, live, and learn with an attitude of humility. We check our egos at the door, and understand that each person at the table is valuable, is loved by God, and should be heard.
  • Hunger (Proverbs 1:5). We always want to be better than we were the day before. We’re hungry to constantly make ourselves and our staff the best we can possibly be.
  • Hustle (Colossians 3:17). We dive in and help where it’s needed. We hustle hard to get our work done, and we don’t quit until everyone is finished. If a coworker needs help, we hustle to see them succeed.
  • Health (3 John 1:2). We take our spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health seriously. We’re open about how we’re doing, and we lift each other up when we fall down.

Take a Look at What We Believe

In essentials – unity.

“There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…” Ephesians 4:4-6

In non-essentials – liberty.

“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls…  So then each of us will give an account of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.” Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

In all things – charity.

“If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.” 1 Corinthians 13:2
